Editing Process

Our workflow is designed to make outsourcing simple while ensuring every film matches your editing style.

Onboarding Questionnaire

Before your first project, you'll complete a one-time onboarding questionnaire so we can understand your editing style, brand, creative preferences, and workflow.

Project Brief

Each wedding begins with a project brief where you'll share important details, timelines, creative notes, music choices, and anything you'd like our editors to know.

Editor Matching

Your project is assigned to the editor who best matches your editing style and creative approach.

Footage Review

We carefully review all footage, audio, timelines, inspiration videos, and project assets before editing begins.

Editing

Your editor crafts the story by selecting the strongest moments, building emotional pacing, and editing the film to match your style.

Quality Assurance

Every project goes through a dedicated quality check where our QA team reviews storytelling, pacing, audio, color, continuity, technical quality, and overall consistency before delivery.

Revisions

After reviewing your first draft, you can request revisions and our team will make the necessary changes.

Final Delivery

Once revisions are complete, we'll deliver your finished wedding film in your preferred format, ready for delivery to your clients.

Your completed project includes:

  • Final exported videos
  • Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve project files
  • Graphics, titles, and project assets used during editing

If requested, we can also return your original project assets.

If you supplied or approved the music before editing began, changing it later will usually be considered a major revision because it often requires re-editing the entire film.

If the music was selected by our editor without prior approval, one music change can be requested during the first revision round. Additional music changes may require extra editing time and charges.

To avoid delays, we recommend finalizing your music choice before editing begins.

We keep your final exported videos and project files after delivery. However, raw footage is stored for 7 days after final approval.

We strongly recommend keeping your own backup of all project files and footage.
